The department has made a respectable recognition among the Institutes offering similar course. The specialty of this department is that, all the faculty members are master degree holders from reputed Institutes with many years of teaching experience. The curriculum of the program has been designed to cater to the ever changing needs and demands of IT industry. The focus is on holistic learning and empowering students to make significant contributions at all levels. Department' s students association is inaugurated on 20/10/2010 by Dr. T.G.Basavaraju , HOD, Deparment of CSE, Acharya Institute of Technology, Bangalore. Followed by a technical talk on "Wire less sensor Networks". One day work shop on "Object Oriented Modeling and Design Patterns" has conducted by Shri M.R.Puttaswami , RNSIT, Banglore on 30/10/2010.
